We are currently recruiting participants to help with our research at both our London location and online! We are looking for children with and without Autism, parents, and adults with Autism. For more details, see below, and feel free to or contact us at sprlab@uwo.ca below if you have any questions or would like to sign up.
Children: We are currently recruiting children ages 6-18 years old, with and without Autism. Participating in a study includes completing a few different computer games, solving puzzles with a researcher, and watching videos while we measure where your eyes are looking. When children participate, we also ask their caregivers to fill out questionnaires about the child.
You are compensated for your time, and we will pay for parking, or if using TTC, for your fare. We also provide children with a “Junior Scientist” certificate, and a prize (currently a children’s book about the brain, while they last).
Parents: If it is not possible to have your child participate, but you would still like to contribute to the research, we also have online versions of some of our research components that you can participate in from the convenience of your home. Parents are also compensated for their time.
Adults: We are currently recruiting adults ages 18 years old and up who are on the Spectrum. Participating in a study includes completing a few different computer tasks, solving puzzles with a researcher, watching videos while we measure where your eyes are looking, and completing questionnaires.
You are compensated for your time, and we have parking onsite.
